  1. DAY 1: ARRIVE KATHMANDU

  2. DAY 2: KATHMANDU

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Morning visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayamhbunath.

    Kathmandu Durbar Square: Listed as one of the eight Cultural World Heritage sites by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar Square is cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to 12th and 18th centuries. The visit of Durbar Square includes the temple of Living Goddesses, who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence, the Hanuman Dhoka Royal Palace, the historic seat of the Royalty; the magnificent Taleju Temple towering 40 meters.

    Swayambhunath: Located approximately 4 km west of Kathmandu, this Buddhist stupa is said to be 2500 years old, the stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha

    Afternoon proceed to visit Patan – is also known as Lalitpur, the city of fine arts, enclosed within four stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD by Emperor Ashoka. The city retains much of the old charm with its narrow streets, brick houses and multitude of well-preserved Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries (vihars) and monuments. A trip to the Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Handicraft Center will also be done while visiting Patan, where you will witness the hand weaving of Tibetan carpets and molding of metal statues.

  3. DAY 03: KATHMANDU / BHAKTAPUR / NAGARKOT (35 KM / 01H15)

    Transfer to Nagarkot visiting Bhaktapur en-route. Bhaktapur: Perched on a hill at an altitude of 1,401 m, Bhaktapur or Bhadgaon literally city of Devotees, is a major tourist destination. It has managed to retain its brick paved roads, charming red brick houses and way of life that goes back to medieval times. Here you will visit Nyatapola dedicated to tantric goddess, Bhairabh Temple dedicated to Bhariav-the god of terror, Pottery square, The 15th Century Palace of 55 carved windows, Golden Gate etc.

    Then continue to Nagarkot. Arrival and check-in at hotel.

    Evening view sunset (subject to weather permit). Nagarkot, is a popular hill station for sunrise and sunset. Nagarkot commands one of the broadest views of Himalayas (subject to weather permit) in the Kathmandu valley (8 out of 13 in Nepal) such as Annapurna Range, Manaslu Range, Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang Range, Jugal Himal Range, Rolwaling Range, Mahalangur Range (Everest Range) and Numbur Range with views of Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National park. The altitude of Nagarkot is 2229 m above sea level. From here different hikes (short hikes/day hikes)/trek can be done).

  4. DAY 04 – NAGARKOT / CHANGUNARAYAN / KATHMANDU (35 KM / 01H15)

    Depart by road to Kathmandu on the way stop for the visit of Changunarayan – The Changu Narayan Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is perched atop a small hill. It is one of the best known Vishnu – Narayan is another name of Vishnu – temples in Nepal and is visited by a large number of devotees especially during Harishayani Ekadashi in the month of Ashadh and Haribodhini Ekadashi in Kartik, over the four month period when Lord Vishnu is supposed to retire to sleep.

    Then continue by road to Kathmandu. Afternoon visit Pashupatinath and Boudhanath.
    Pashupatinath: It is one of the holiest/sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati river, the temple built in pagoda style has gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non-Hindus. Behind the temples are the cremation grounds. Chronicles indicate the temple existed before 400 A.D.

    Boudhanath: This stupa, eight kilometers east of Kathmandu city is one of the biggest in the world of its kind and one of the most imposing landmarks in Kathmandu. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. This Buddhist stupa was built by King Man Dev at the advice of Goddess Mani Jjogini. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. This is also the center of Tibetan Buddhism.

  5. DAY 05 – KATHMANDU / DELHI BY AIR

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Morning free for the personal activities.

    In time transfer to the airport for the flight Delhi. Assistance on arrival and check in at hotel.

  6. DAY 06 – DELHI / COCHIN BY AIR

    Breakfast at hotel.

    In time transfer to the airport for the flight Cochin. Assistance on arrival and check in at hotel.

  7. DAY 7: COCHIN / MUNNAR (130 KMS / 03H45)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Depart by road to Munnar

    On the way photo stop of Cheeyappara waterfalls and view point. Arrive and check at hotel. Rest of the day free to admire natural beauty.

  8. DAY 8: MUNNAR

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. Places and activities of interest – Eravikulam national park, Tea gardens, Tea museum & Tea factory, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points. Return to hotel.

  9. DAY 9: MUNNAR / ALLEPPY (160 KMS / 04H30)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Depart by road to Alleppey. Arrival and check in at Houseboat. Staying in Houseboat is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one can see paddy fields, coconut palms, fishermen and local life. Anchoring at a nice place for overnight at houseboat.
    Lunch, evening tea and dinner will be provided in the boat.

  10. DAY 10: ALLEPPY / COCHIN (60 KMS / 01H30)

    Breakfast at hotel.

    Depart by road to cochin.

    Visit Cochin that includes visit Chinese fishing net, St. Francis’ Church, Dutch Palace (Built by the Portuguese), Jew Town, the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays and Saturdays) built in the year 1568.

    Walk in the Fort Cochin area and spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices.

    In the evening enjoy Kathakali Dance Show.

  11. DAY 11: COCHIN / MUMBAI BY AIR

    Intime transfer to the airport for the flight to Mumbai. Assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel.

  12. DAY 12: MUMBAI

    Depart for the visit of Elephanta Caves (Closed on Monday) – Elephanta Island is just an hour drive from Mumbai by motor boat. The cave temples here, excavated between the 5th and 8th centuries AD, are famous for their beautifully carved panels. The best known is the one depicting the Maheshmurti – a three-headed image of Lord Shiva. This island was named so by the Portuguese after the stone elephant near the landing place.

    Return to pier then visit of Gateway of India.

    In the afternoon tour of the city, of the one that the English had baptized “Gateway of India”, the door of India, to admire the buildings of neo-Victorian style around the Maidan, a long green gap which was the heart of British Bombay. Eclecticism reigns there with styles ranging from Romanesque to French Gothic or Venetian and primitive Anglo-Saxon, all embellished with Rajput or Mughal reminders in the ornamentation, due to Indian workers. Just like King George V, during the savisite in 1911. Walk in Crowford market.

  13. DAY 13: DEPARTURE FROM MUMBAI
